Format: Commander

Commander: Admiral Beckett Brass

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Admiral Beckett Brass is the face commander of a midrange Pirate theft deck. The primary plan is to attack the same player with three or more Pirates, then use Beckett Brass' end-step trigger to steal the best nonland permanent on the board. The hidden commander is Admiral Brass, Unsinkable; that card is not the face commander but a recurring 4/4 Pirate engine that strengthens the deck if the main commander is denied. Backup paths include treasure-based ramp, shared buff effects, and Angrath's Marauders. The deck is built to use the face commander, not a double-faced card.
