Zuko fire lord by KjappMannDodeIHeisen

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Zuko

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Mardu "cast from exile" snowball deck helmed by Fire Lord Zuko, whose Firebending ability generates red mana on attack while his second ability pumps the entire team with +1/+1 counters every time a spell is cast from exile or a permanent enters from exile. The deck is built around a dense package of exile-and-play effects - Laelia, the Blade Reforged, Party Thrasher, Cait Sith, Fortune Teller, Furious Rise, and the "airbend" flicker-exile suite (Aang, the Last Airbender, Appa, Steadfast Guardian, Avatar's Wrath) - that chain into one another. Zuko's attack-triggered mana accelerates the chain, and the counters turn a wide board of small creatures into a lethal combat threat. Big haymakers like Etali, Primal Storm, Elder Brain, and Dance with Calamity provide free-spell bursts. The primary win is combat damage from a pumped, double-striking team; there are no infinite combos.
