Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an aggressive Vampire tribal and aristocrats strategy that leverages Markov's Eminence ability to generate continuous 1/1 Vampire tokens with every creature cast. Operating primarily at low mana values, the deck deploys a dense curve of 1- to 3-drop Vampires that rapidly build a wide board state without consuming extra card slots for token creation. Card draw engines like Skullclamp and Champion of Dusk capitalize on this high creature density to maintain hand velocity. Pressure is applied through aggressive combat backed by lords like Cordial Vampire and Legion Lieutenant, culminated by deploying Edgar Markov for explosive team-wide +1/+1 counters on attack. Concurrently, aristocrat payoffs like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and The Meathook Massacre ensure that opponent sweepers result in severe life drain. The list also integrates an infinite drain combo in Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond as an alternate win condition.
