Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov enchantress control shell helmed by Killian, Decisive Mentor. The strategy revolves around casting low-cost Auras to trigger Killian's ability, tapping opposing blockers and goading dangerous threats. This forces opponents to attack each other while triggering Killian to draw cards during every player's combat phase. The deck reinforces this combat manipulation with cards like Blind Obedience, Eriette of the Charmed Apple, and the Impetus Aura cycle. A dense suite of cost reducers and enchantress creatures provides high mana efficiency and card flow. The deck establishes a critical must-answer state around Turn 6 by stacking Auras, draining the table with Eriette, or producing large swarms of flying Pegasus and Cat tokens with Archon of Sun's Grace and Ajani's Chosen. It closes games on Turn 8 through accumulated drain and forced attrition, supported by defensive spells like Teferi's Protection and mass recursion like Eiganjo Dynastorian // Replenish.
