Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Human tribal and hatebear aggro deck helmed by Kenrith, the Returned King. It uses efficient 1-to-2 CMC mana dorks and stax creatures like Drannith Magistrate, Thalia, Heretic Cathar, and Lavinia, Azorius Renegade to disrupt opponents during the opening turns while building mana velocity through Katilda, Dawnhart Prime. In the midgame, token creators such as Horn of Gondor, Torens, Fist of the Angels, and Éowyn, Shieldmaiden build wide boards that quickly scale out of control. Kenrith sits in the command zone as an ideal mana sink, granting immediate trample and haste, growing creatures with +1/+1 counters, drawing cards, and reanimating key fallen Humans. The deck can also pivot into an opportunistic infinite mana loop using Heronblade Elite and Hapatra, the Desert Frost once Kenrith pumps Elite to 4 power, enabling an immediate table-wide lethal activation loop.
