Format: Commander

Commander: Dina, Essence Brewer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Dina, Essence Brewer runs a Golgari aristocrats engine in which sacrificing creatures converts into cards, life, and lifeloss. Dina is a recurring draw-on-sacrifice source and a large-life payoff, but the deck does not rely on her as a combo piece. Instead, the list layers other death-drain triggers such as Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, Cauldron of Essence, and Zulaport Cutthroat. Sephiroth acts as a hidden double-faced engine: the front face draws and flips after enough death triggers, while the back multiplies sacrifice draws and provides an emblem that turns every creature death into damage. The main finish is a repeated sacrifice loop, commonly assembled with Mikaeus, Putrid Goblin, and Ashnod's Altar. Jarad plus Lord of Extinction is the secondary burst finish.
