Selenia, the aura giver. by phgil

Format: Commander

Commander: Selenia, the Cursed Heart

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov deck led by Selenia, the Cursed Heart is a lifegain/drain engine that doubles life gain and creates a punishing curse token on death. The primary plan is to stack Curse Auras on opponents for incremental value and disruption, while assembling an infinite life-drain loop using Exquisite Blood with any of Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. The deck uses life as a resource to draw cards, recur creatures, and eventually finish with Aetherflux Reservoir or a massive Exsanguinate. Curses provide stax-like effects that tax opponents' spells, creatures, and draws, making the drain plan resilient and inevitable.
