Commander: Lightning, Army of One

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros equipment deck uses Lightning, Army of One to quickly knock out opponents through combat damage and her Stagger ability. Stagger doubles all damage dealt to a player after Lightning hits them, letting follow-up strikes and extra combat phases snowball into lethal totals. The primary game plan equips Lightning with power-boosting artifacts like Colossus Hammer and Blackblade Reforged, grants double strike or evasion, and chains extra combat steps with cards like Combat Celebrant, Aurelia, the Warleader, and Port Razer. Alternatively, Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreads massive commander damage across the entire table.
