Deck overview

This is an old-school five-color "goodstuff" battlecruiser deck helmed by Arzakon, a planarwalker who generates immediate value with a Black Lotus token and provides a mass wheel ultimate. The primary game plan involves ramping into huge threats like Akroma, Angel of Wrath and Serra Avatar and cheating them into play via Sneak Attack, Elvish Piper, Quicksilver Amulet, Show and Tell, Oath of Druids, or Defense of the Heart. The deck also runs a recursion package with Living Death, Necromancy, and Reya Dawnbringer to grind back from wipes. It has no compact infinite combos; it relies on overwhelming combat damage from fatties multiplied by value engines like Greater GGood and Sylvan Library. The mana base is excellent with original duals and fetchs, but the curve is extremely high, making it a slow but inevtiable value pile.
