Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Grixis spellslinger-voltron engine piloted by Fire Lord Azula. The primary plan accelerates mana on early turns with cheap rocks and cost reducers like Baral, Chief of Compliance and Stormcatch Mentor, deploying Azula by Turn 3 or 4. When Azula attacks, Firebending 2 generates {R}{R} and duplicates every instant cast during combat. Duplicating power doublers such as Unleash Fury and Bulk Up alongside evasive cantrips like Shadow Rift enables Azula to eliminate opponents with 21+ commander damage in a single swing. With Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, this damage wipes the table simultaneously. Magecraft engines like Archmage Emeritus and Storm-Kiln Artist turn combat cantrips into massive card draw and mana bursts. The list is shielded by free interaction including Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship, and features a compact backup win condition in Demonic Consultation + Thassa's Oracle.
