Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mono-Black Aristocrats and Zombie tribal deck led by Liliana, Heretical Healer. Its core strategy revolves around converting creature deaths into mana, card advantage, and life drain. The deck leverages fast mana acceleration like Dark Ritual and Mana Vault alongside efficient tutors such as Vampiric Tutor and Entomb to assemble an aristocrats engine early. The primary win condition is an infinite sacrifice loop utilizing Gravecrawler, a sacrifice outlet like Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader, and a drain payoff such as Blood Artist, Marionette Apprentice, or The Meathook Massacre to drain the entire table in a single turn. Alternatively, the deck can establish an oppressive resource lock using Braids, Cabal Minion or grind opponents out with Zombie lords, Vein Ripper, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. With abundant cheap reanimation, the deck recovers rapidly from removal and maintains high resilience throughout the game.
