Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos control and group-slug shell helmed by Kardur, Doomscourge. Rather than rushing an early combo or racing for commander damage, it weaponizes opponents' creatures against one another using Kardur's entering ability alongside forced-combat enablers like Geode Rager. As opponents whittle down their own life totals and lose creatures in combat, Kardur's death triggers, burn spells (Fiery Confluence, Breath of Malfegor), and damage doublers (Dictate of the Twin Gods) finish them off. The deck features dependable, broad-spectrum removal and graveyard-theft finishers like Sepulchral Primordial. However, it lacks tutors, countermagic, and free interaction, meaning it relies heavily on natural draws and political dynamics to survive until its expensive high-end engines take over in the late game.
