Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Rakdos Stompy strategy centered on Rakdos, Lord of Riots. The game plan uses low-cost pingers and burn spells such as Spear Spewer and Flame Rift to trigger the commander casting requirement on Turn 4. Once Rakdos attacks on Turn 5, dealing 6 flying trample damage, it generates an enormous colorless mana discount for creature spells. This allows the pilot to deploy devastating Eldrazi titans—including Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, and Blightsteel Colossus—into play for minimal mana. The deck features strong on-cast value, free interaction with Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick, and asymmetric board suppression through Annihilator triggers. It closes games swiftly between Turns 6 and 7 through overwhelming combat damage and infect, presenting a relentless clock that forces opponents to have immediate, repeated sweepers.
