Homer, the Hermit pilots a Sultai landfall-mill strategy that leverages the commander's ability to mill opponents for large numbers as the number of Crabs, Lobsters, Nautiluses, Starfish, and/or Trilobites you control increases. The deck packs heavy land-ramp (Nature's Lore, Farseek, Three Visits, Rampant Growth, plus extra-land-drop effects like Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Exploration) to trigger landfall frequently. A tribal subtheme runs 12+ creatures of the relevant types-including Hedron Crab, Ruin Crab, Iceberg Cancrix, and changelings like Mutable Explorer-to boost Homer's mill multiplier. Force-multipliers such as Bruvac the Grandiloquent and The Water Crystal double or add four to each mill event, enabling a slower but consistent incremental victory.
