Deck overview

This is a high-variance Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Rootha, Mastering the Moment. The primary plan is to ramp into cost reducers and rituals, then cast high-mana-value instants and sorceries to create giant flying haste Elemental tokens via Rootha's combat trigger. Extra combat spells (World at War, Full Throttle) and an extra-turn spell (Expropriate) allow those tokens to close out games, while Crackle with Power and Insurrection serve as backup finishers. The deck leans on explosive burst mana (Jeska's Will, Mana Geyser, Brass's Bounty) and a handful of card-draw spells to fuel its plays, but lacks reliable tutors and efficient protection.
