Deck overview

This deck is a high-impact Rakdos Demon tribal stompy deck built around its commander, Rakdos, Lord of Riots. The strategy focuses on deploying low-cost, repeatable pingers during the early turns to trigger Rakdos's casting condition on Turn 4. Once Rakdos attacks on Turn 5, dealing 6 evasive combat damage, its static ability reduces the generic mana costs of creature spells by 6 or more. This mana discount enables the pilot to cast overwhelming, high-CMC Demon bombs such as Archfiend of Despair, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Bloodthirster, and Vilis, Broker of Blood for just a few colored mana pips. The deck closes out games swiftly on Turn 6 through massive aerial combat damage multiplied by Archfiend or extra combat steps. While vulnerable to early spot removal on its commander, dense redundancy among pingers and threats ensures high consistency.
