Deck overview

This Mardu list is a graveyard-combo deck built around two complementary plans: a combat-speed reanimation engine in the command zone and an independent set of infinite loops in the 99. Terra, Herald of Hope mills twice at each combat and, on connecting, pays {2} to return a power- 3 creature - a line that can chain directly into Karmic Guide, Ratadrabik of Urborg, or Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. The primary wins are: (1) the Ratadrabik of Urborg + Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + sacrifice-outlet loop producing infinite Kiki tokens, converted through Blood Artist, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Purphoros, God of the Forge, or Terror of the Peaks; (2) Rionya, Fire Dancer/Twinflame copy-burst damage; and (3) midrange beats from Archon of Cruelty/Terror of the Peaks with Aurelia, the Warleader extra combats. Terra is an accelerant, not the required engine - the combo skeletons all live in the 99.
