Samuts Were Made for Walking by Cantill88

Format: Commander

Commander: Samut, Voice of Dissent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Naya goodstuff deck is built around the singular sorcery Primal Surge, with the entire 99 consisting of creatures and lands. The game plan is to ramp aggressively with a dense cluster of mana dorks, deploy Samut, Voice of Dissent to grant all creatures haste, then resolve Primal Surge to dump every permanent in the library onto the battlefield at once, ending the game in a single combat step. The deck also supports a secondary beatdown plan using explosive threats like Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Pathbreaker Ibex, and Aurelia, the Warleader, but the all-in Surge line is the primary path. Samut's flash, double strike, and untap ability provide utility and resilience, but the deck's identity is defined by its creature-only composition and reliance on one spell to win.
