Deck overview

This mono-black deck is an archetype-defining Zombie tribal swarm and aristocrats strategy led by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The deck's primary game plan revolves around curving out resilient Zombie creatures and mana rocks during the opening turns, deploying Gisa on Turn 5, and untapping on Turn 6 to sacrifice high-power creatures to create explosive waves of 2/2 Zombie tokens. On Turn 7, the deck reaches critical onset by buffing its army with lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief or capitalizing on death triggers via Vengeful Dead and Ayara, First of Locthwain. Without relying on fast mana or infinite combos, it steadily drains opposing life totals and overwhelms blockers through combat damage, closing out the table by Turn 9. The deck features strong redundancy and graveyard recursion, though it remains vulnerable to sweepers and lacks artifact interaction.
