Deck overview

This is a Mardu midrange Angel deck helmed by Tariel, Reckoner of Souls that wins through flying combat pressure, opportunistic reanimation, and graveyard theft. Tariel's activated ability turns opponents' graveyards into a shared threat pool, while the 99 supports a self-sufficient Angel beatdown plan with recursion engines like Sun Titan, Karmic Guide, and Liesa, Forgotten Archangel. A single defensive lock-Solemnity plus Phyrexian Unlife-renders the pilot nearly unkillable by damage or life loss, buying time to close via combat. Aurelia, the Warleader and Gratuitous Violence accelerate the clock once a board is established. The deck is high-curve (AMV ~3.76), light on tutors and stack interaction, and plays as a grindy multiplayer value pile rather than a combo-combo deck.
