Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aura-based control and drain strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap, versatile Auras onto both your own creatures and opposing threats. Eriette turns these Auras into a dual-purpose engine: enchanted opposing creatures are barred from attacking you, while Eriette drains each opponent and gains you life on every end step equal to your total Aura count. The deck supplements this incremental drain with Voltron damage multipliers like All That Glitters, token generation from Archon of Sun's Grace, and card draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer. Protection Auras and umbras safeguard your key permanents against removal, while mass recursion cards like Retether rebuild your board after wipes. In addition to combat and drain, the deck includes a two-card infinite combo between Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose to close games immediately.
