Format: Commander

Commander: Satoru Umezawa

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Satoru Umezawa leads a Dimir 'cheat-and-value' deck. The primary plan is to turn any creature card in hand into a ninjutsu spell, jumping huge demons, krakens, and artifact golems into combat from unblockable 1/1s, while Satoru's trigger and damage-draw outlets keep the hand full. Torgaar, Famine Incarnate acts as a hidden commander-style finisher: it halves a player's life for only {2}{U}{B} via ninjutsu. Secondary paths include hard-casting midrange removal and using Kederekt Leviathan or Scourge of Fleets as resets. The deck is not a combo deck; it wins by repeated evasive combat and enters-the-battlefield disruption, with Satoru as the enabler that must stay on board.
