Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis Rat Tribal and Aristocrats strategy commanded by Wick, the Whorled Mind. The game plan revolves around rapidly establishing a wide board of Rat creatures to passively generate and enlarge a central Snail creature token. Wick converts this growing token into simultaneous table-wide direct burn and massive card draw via his activated ability. In the early turns, the deck deploys cost-effective mana rocks and low-curve Rats to prepare the battlefield. By Turn 4 to 5, Wick enters to establish an operational card engine that replenishes resources with every sacrifice. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by Turn 6, utilizing potent multipliers like Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm, Marrow-Gnawer, and Shared Animosity for combat overruns, or resolving Plague of Vermin and Phyresis for explosive direct finishes. With high redundancy, resilient recursion, and flexible interaction, the deck consistently overwhelms the pod across consecutive turns.
