Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counters midrange and attrition deck commanded by The Reaper, King No More. The strategy focuses on spreading -1/-1 counters across opposing boards using wither creatures, targeted debuffs, and mass-counter spells. When weakened opposing creatures die, the commander and Necroskitter steal them onto your battlefield, turning opposing threats into personal assets. Simultaneously, cards like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Flourishing Defenses generate a wide swarm of tokens, while Kulrath Knight completely paralyzes any opposing creature bearing counters. The deck grinds out opponents through card advantage engines such as The Scorpion God and Massacre Girl, Known Killer, before finishing the game through combat damage and life-drain triggers from Marionette Apprentice and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. While vulnerable to spell-based combo decks and lacking instant-speed countermagic, it exerts dominating control over creature-heavy tables.
