Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos spellslinger-burn deck built around Kuja, Genome Sorcerer's transform into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied|Flare Star, which doubles all damage dealt by Wizards. The engine is a dense pack of Wizard-token generators and "whenever you cast a noncreature spell" damage triggers - Coruscation Mage, Black Waltz No. 3, Longshot, Rebel Bowman, The Destined Black Mage, Gleeful Arsonist, and Black Mage's Rod - amplified by trigger doublers (Harmonic Prodigy, Roaming Throne) and damage multipliers (City on Fire, Collective Inferno, Artist's Talent). A ritual package (Dark Ritual, Seething Song, Cabal Ritual, Mana Geyser, Jeska's Will) fuels explosive noncreature-spell turns. The primary win is table-wide burn that ignores combat; there are no infinite combos. The deck is a glass-cannon burst deck that wants to transform Kuja by turn 4-5 and close the game in one or two big spell chains.
