Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This deck is a competitive combo list that uses Animar, Soul of Elements to discount creature costs and assemble fast infinite loops. After casting Animar on turn one or two with fast mana, you chain low-cost creatures to grow Animar to four or more counters. The primary win line uses Ancestral Statue, which becomes free with four counters on Animar, generating infinite cast triggers, infinite counters on Animar, and lethal damage via Terror of the Peaks or an arbitrarily large Walking Ballista. The deck protects its combo turns using efficient countermagic, uncounterable clauses, and versatile creature tutors.
