Deck overview

Led by Sokka, Tenacious Tactician, this Jeskai deck is an aggressive spellslinger and prowess token deck. Sokka turns every noncreature spell into a 1/1 white Ally token that shares menace and prowess with the rest of your board. The game plan focuses on deploying Sokka on Turn 3 or 4, followed by chaining low-cost cantrips and pump spells like Ponder, Preordain, Defiant Strike, and Expressive Iteration to flood the battlefield with evasive attackers. Anthems such as Balmor, Battlemage Captain and Jeskai Ascendancy scale the swarm into lethal combat bursts. While the deck boasts rapid token generation, strong card velocity, and redundant token creators like Monastery Mentor and Kykar, Wind's Fury, its reliance on multi-turn combat leaves it exposed to sweepers and lacking stack-based interaction against fast combo decks.
