Format: Commander

Commander: Vadrik, Astral Archmage

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vadrik, Astral Archmage leads a spellslinger storm deck that uses Vadrik's power-based discount to make instants and sorceries cheap. The deck grows Vadrik through day/night flips, then pairs the discount with treasure engines Birgi and Storm-Kiln Artist to turn rituals like Mana Geyser, Seething Song, Jeska's Will and Inner Fire into net mana. Buyback spells Reiterate and Searing Touch and storm payoffs Haze of Rage create loops that generate infinite mana and storm count. Past in Flames and Underworld Breach recycle the graveyard for a second wave. Wins come from looping Stroke of Genius, Brain Freeze, or Searing Touch pings once infinite mana is established.
