Deck overview

This deck leverages a dual-threat Grixis strategy combining a compact, instant-win infinite combo with an oppressive high-end reanimation shell. The primary game plan centers on assembling Duskmantle Guildmage and Mindcrank, triggering an infinite loop of mill and life loss that eliminates all opponents in a single turn around Turn 5. Backing up this primary combo is a resilient suite of graveyard recursion spells like Reanimate and Victimize, which cheat out formidable boss creatures such as Griselbrand, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Lord Xander, the Collector. Lord Xander applies devastating asymmetric attrition upon entering, attacking, and dying, effectively neutralizing opposing hand sizes, libraries, and board states. Supported by targeted countermagic, card selection cantrips, and potent synergy engines like Tergrid, God of Fright and Bruvac the Grandiloquent, the deck navigates mid-game development smoothly while maintaining strong backup paths to victory.
