Deck overview

This mono-black deck is helmed by The Master of Lake-town, turning every point of life lost by any player into milled cards. The deck leverages symmetrical and asymmetric group slug cards like Creeping Bloodsucker, Underworld Dreams, Mai, Scornful Striker, and Painful Quandary to constantly drain opponents while shredding their libraries. Once graveyards are full, the deck pivots into mass reanimation spells like Sepulchral Primordial, Rise of the Dark Realms, and Afterlife from the Loam, using opponents' best threats to dominate the battlefield. Syr Konrad, the Grim and Dreadhound act as primary win conditions, creating cascading loops of damage and milling whenever cards hit graveyards. Additionally, the list includes a compact infinite combo with Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank. While vulnerable to mass graveyard exile and lacking stack interaction, the deck exhibits strong recursion and consistent attrition.
