Deck overview

This deck is a resilient Sultai Landfall and Graveyard Midrange strategy led by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana early with low-cost ramp spells, casting Teval on Turn 3, and attacking on Turn 4 to mill cards and return lands directly to play. Each land leaving the graveyard triggers Teval to generate 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens. The deck scales into the midgame using powerful recursion engines like Life from the Loam, Ramunap Excavator, and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods. It establishes a decisive Turn 6 board state through explosive token generators like Field of the Dead, Titania, Protector of Argoth, and Avenger of Zendikar. The game is closed out on Turn 7 via an overwhelming Craterhoof Behemoth overrun, direct life drain from Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, or an infinite sacrifice loop with Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar.
