Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Black Zombie Aristocrats strategy commanded by The Ghoul, Gunslinger. It combines traditional Zombie tribal synergy with graveyard recursion and sacrifice engines. The main game plan focuses on assembling sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar and Carrion Feeder alongside recurring creatures such as Gravecrawler to trigger death payoffs. The Ghoul, Gunslinger accelerates mana and pressures opponents by generating Treasure tokens and distributing rad counters whenever nontoken Zombies die. The deck establishes its operational core by Turn 4 and reaches critical threat onset on Turn 6 through massive life-drain bursts from Gray Merchant of Asphodel or wide Zombie swarms. It reliably eliminates all three opponents by Turn 7. While the deck possesses remarkable engine recovery thanks to dense reanimation spells and recursive creatures, it has notable vulnerabilities to exile-based board wipes and lacks answers for opposing artifacts and enchantments.
