Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER commands a mono-black aristocrats engine focused on sacrificing recursive creatures to drain opponents and generate card advantage. The deck aims to trigger Sephiroth's sacrifice ability four times in a single turn to transform him into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, creating an indestructible emblem that perpetually drains opponents on every creature death. Primary win conditions rely on executing death loops using Ashnod's Altar, Pitiless Plunderer, and Reassembling Skeleton to produce infinite colorless mana and death triggers. Secondary routes leverage heavy burst damage via Gray Merchant of Asphodel loops, Syr Konrad, the Grim, or large Living Death swings.
