Deck overview

This is a Grixis Pirate tribal deck helmed by Admiral Brass, Unsinkable, leaning heavily into combat damage triggers, treasure generation, and graveyard recursion. The primary game plan involves milling cards with the commander's ETB, then recurring a Pirate each combat to build an aggressive board state. Anthems like Shared Animosity and Dire Fleet Neckbreaker amplify the swarm, while Port Razer and Timestream Navigator provide extra combats or turns to close out the game. The deck generates substantial treasure value through cards like Pitiless Plunderer, Captain Lannery Storm, and Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator, fueling explosive plays or fixing for the difficult three-color mana base. It wins primarily through incremental combat damage, with no explicit infinite combos, relying on overwhelming the table with recursively available pirates.
