Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul stompy strategy powered by Bello, Bard of the Brambles. Bello turns every non-Equipment artifact and non-Aura enchantment with mana value 4 or greater into an indestructible 4/4 Elemental with haste during your turn. The deck accelerates in the opening turns using 15+ low-cost ramp pieces, deploying Bello on Turn 3 and casting 4-drop utility permanents on Turn 4. Once assembled, every subsequent high-cost permanent immediately attacks for 4 damage and draws a fresh card upon dealing combat damage. The deck scales pressure through damage multipliers such as Gratuitous Violence, Unnatural Growth, Berserkers' Onslaught, and Fiery Emancipation, turning utility artifacts and enchantments into lethal beaters that eliminate opponents around Turn 7. Because your animated permanents revert to noncreatures on opponents' turns, they naturally dodge sorcery-speed creature wipes. However, the strategy relies heavily on Bello remaining on the battlefield to provide animation and combat draw.
