Deck overview

This monoblue deck is a landfall-value engine helmed by Gandalf, Shadow's Foe. The primary game plan is to accelerate onto a large mana base, cast Gandalf, and then chain multiple land drops per turn to draw cards, pump him, and trigger a suite of landfall payoffs. The deck leverages clone effects (Cackling Counterpart, Phantasmal Image, Mirror Mockery, etc.) to duplicate Gandalf or other value creatures, doubling triggers with Panharmonicon, Roaming Throne, Starfield Vocalist, and Virtue of Knowledge. Victory comes either through commander damage from a massively grown Gandalf (flying evasion is absent, but repeated landfall makes him huge), a token swarm from Field of the Dead, or incremental mill via Ruin Crab. The deck plays a controlling landfall-value game, but lacks a compact fast win condition, making it a slow, resilient value engine that wins through attrition.
