Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius aggro-tempo deck commanded by Denzilore Fatehold. The strategy focuses on deploying low-cost creatures that scry or surveil when entering the battlefield or attacking. Once Denzilore is deployed—often utilizing its flash ability at the end of an opponent's turn—every scry and surveil action places +1/+1 counters on your entire team. The deck rapidly scales small utility creatures into formidable combat threats. High-synergy card advantage engines like Danny Pink and Matoya, Archon Elder turn counter placement and library filtering into raw card draw, keeping your hand full of reactive countermagic and protection. To push past ground blockers, the deck utilizes evasion enablers like Herald of Secret Streams and Abzan Falconer, alongside asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye that spare your counter-laden board. The deck delivers steady, compounding pressure and finishes games through evasive combat by Turn 7.
