Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger strategy led by Lilah, Undefeated Slickshot. Lilah turns every multicolored instant and sorcery cast from hand into a plotted spell upon resolution, banking free spells in exile to unleash explosive turns later. The deck ramps on curve, uses efficient card filtering to stock its hand, and pairs free plotted spells with high-cost payoffs like Thousand-Year Storm, Prismari, the Inspiration, Thor, God of Thunder, and Niv-Mizzet, Parun. Once a major payoff hits the board, chaining plotted spells and rituals generates massive storm counts and targeted burn. The deck also includes the compact combo of Curiosity attached to Niv-Mizzet, Parun to draw through the library and burn down opponents. A deep suite of countermagic and bounce spells defends key setup turns while keeping opposing threats in check.
