Astonishing Spiderman by sekiro9225

Format: Commander

Commander: Astonishing Spider-Man

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

An Izzet discard-and-draw deck built squarely around Astonishing Spider-Man's attack trigger: it throws the hand away, draws a fresh grip, and punishes every discard with Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Magmakin Artillerist, Cool but Rude, and similar payoffs. The Locust God and Ominous Seas turn the constant card flow into creatures. The primary win is a draw-ping loop with Niv-Mizzet, Parun and either Curiosity or Ophidian Eye; the secondary route is Underworld Breach chaining with Lion's Eye Diamond and Wheel of Fortune for overwhelming mana and card advantage. The commander is an engine and discard outlet but not required for the combo, and Niv-Mizzet, Parun functions as the hidden commander that most draw engines feed.
