Deck overview

This mono-black combo deck harnesses Gwenom, Remorseless as an attack-triggered Bolas's Citadel in the command zone. The deck accelerates into Gwenom using early artifact ramp, grants her haste with equipment such as Lightning Greaves or Lavaspur Boots, and attacks to unlock the top card of the library. By casting topdeck cards with life instead of mana, Gwenom converts her lifelink combat damage and black life buffers directly into raw card velocity. The primary win condition loops Sensei's Divining Top from the top of the library with Aetherflux Reservoir in play, netting unbounded storm count and life before dealing 50 damage to each opponent. Top-of-library tutors like Vampiric Tutor and Imperial Seal ensure rapid assembly of key pieces. Disruptive creatures like Opposition Agent and Dauthi Voidwalker stall opponents while Gwenom prepares her decisive combat turn.
