Deck overview

This deck is an upkeep-centric aggro-control strategy commanded by Obeka, Splitter of Seconds. The primary objective is to resolve Obeka, grant her evasion or haste, and connect with combat damage to trigger additional upkeep steps during the postcombat main phase. These extra upkeeps exponentially accelerate powerful continuous triggers, including the Court cycle (Court of Ambition, Court of Embereth, Court of Ire), the Ring equipment cycle, and game-winning engines like Bonehoard Dracosaur and Twilight Prophet. While the deck features an exceptionally strong top-end value engine and potent proactive stax pieces like Herald of Leshrac and Silent Arbiter, its low density of early mana ramp means it depends heavily on making consecutive land drops to deploy its 4-to-7 mana threats. Backed by free commander interaction and robust equipment protection, the deck quickly snowballs combat connections into overwhelming card advantage and inevitable life drain.
