Marvo - Clash by DarkShadows

Format: Commander

Commander: Marvo, Deep Operative

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Marvo, Deep Operative is the engine and clock of this Dimir big-spell deck. The plan is to stack a high-mana card on top, attack with Marvo, win the clash, and free-cast bombs such as Stormtide Leviathan, Archon of Cruelty, and Beacon of Tomorrows. Runo Stromkirk // Krothuss, Lord of the Deep acts as a hidden commander, turning sea monsters into extra attacking copies; Gyruda and Wrexial provide graveyard and opponent-spell angles. Bolas's Citadel, One with the Multiverse, and Wondrous Crucible give late-game top-of-library engines. There is no true infinite combo in the list, so victory usually comes from a few explosive turns of 8-drops and Kraken tokens rather than a single loop.
