Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue big-mana control strategy commanded by Gogo, Master of Mimicry. It develops its mana through a high density of basic Islands and mid-cost artifact acceleration such as Worn Powerstone, Solemn Simulacrum, and Caged Sun. Once sufficient mana is established around Turn 6, the deck leverages Gogo to duplicate high-impact triggered and activated abilities, turning cards like Sphinx of the Second Sun into compounding resource engines and Agent of Treachery into multi-permanent theft spells. The deck also contains disruptive stax elements like Back to Basics and Winter Moon to penalize greedy opposing mana bases. However, the list runs virtually no nonland tutors and very little cheap countermagic or instant-speed removal, relying instead on raw natural draws and tap or stun effects. It finishes games primarily through evasive combat damage over several turn cycles.
