Iroh, Grand Lotus (Slime)

Format: Commander

Commander: Iroh, Grand Lotus

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The deck is a +1/+1 counter storm-like strategy built around the 19 copies of Slime Against Humanity. Commander Iroh, Grand Lotus provides flashback to all instants and sorceries in the graveyard during your turn, allowing repeated castings of SAH and Lesson cards. The primary win condition is to generate an overwhelming number of +1/+1 counters on Ooze tokens, either for a massive trampling attack or to trigger Simic Ascendancy's alternate win condition. The deck leverages cost reducers (Goblin Anarchomancer, Goblin Electromancer, Archmage of Runes), counter doublers (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, The Earth Crystal), and the potential to chain SAHs via Thrumming Stone or Pyromancer Ascension. While the plan is explosive when key pieces align, the lack of a consistent tutor suite leads to high variance between games.
