Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Dragon tribal midrange deck commanded by Korlessa, Scale Singer. Its primary strategy revolves around using Korlessa's static ability to play Dragons directly from the top of the library, effectively turning the topdeck into an extension of the hand. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration and tribal cost reducers such as Acolyte of Bahamut, Herald's Horn, and Urza's Incubator. Once the mana foundation is set, the deck transitions into dropping formidable flying threats like Ancient Silver Dragon, Astral Dragon, Earthquake Dragon, and Canopy Gargantuan. Draw engines including Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, and Kindred Discovery ensure a steady stream of cards to replace deployed threats. The deck closes games through overwhelming aerial combat damage, bypassing ground defenses and leveraging power buffs and trample. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to select protection spells and countermagic, the deck remains vulnerable to repeated mass board wipes.
