Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Red Landfall and Group Slug strategy commanded by Koth, the Geomancer. The core game plan focuses on deploying Koth early to convert every Mountain drop into table-wide chip damage and mana refunds. The deck scales this output using static damage amplifiers like Mechanized Warfare, Aether Revolt, and Hawkeye, Young Avenger, alongside redundant landfall pingers such as Spitfire Lagac and Tunneling Geopede. Mid-to-late game turns capitalize on explosive land deployment cards including Nahiri's Lithoforming, Hew the Entwood, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum to burn out the table or execute overwhelming multi-combat attacks. While the deck boasts high resiliency against board wipes thanks to its heavy land base and easy commander replayability, it operates with minimal stack interaction and relies on continuous draw engines or wheels to maintain card velocity.
