Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy combat and burn deck built around Abaddon the Despoiler. The strategy focuses on setting up passive life-loss enablers early, resolving Abaddon, and leveraging his Mark of Chaos Ascendant ability to grant cascade to mid- and high-cost spells. The deck features a heavy Demon tribal subtheme, using powerhouse beaters like Be'lakor, the Dark Master, Bloodthirster, and Lord of Change to translate mana investment into overwhelming battlefield presence and burst damage. Supported by 2-mana mana rocks and solid color fixing, the deck smoothly reaches its 5-mana commander and cascades into substantial card velocity. While the list packs potent mass sweepers and targeted removal, its game plan relies heavily on sorcery-speed board states and combat steps, offering minimal stack interaction and leaving key pieces vulnerable to well-timed opposing removal.
