Deck overview

This deck is an Esper topdeck-control and big-mana cheat strategy commanded by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early artifact ramp, sculpting the top of the library with cards like Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter, and casting Yennett by turn 4. On turn 5, Yennett attacks to reveal and free-cast devastating odd-mana-value bombs, including Void Winnower, Breach the Multiverse, and Toxrill, the Corrosive. These threats establish an overwhelming resource disparity, sweeping opposing boards and locking out even-cost spells. The deck steadily grinds down opponents over three combat cycles while controlling the board with versatile removal like Swords to Plowshares, Extinction Event, and Promise of Loyalty. While highly potent once established, the deck relies heavily on Yennett surviving without haste and features minimal cheap countermagic to defend its critical setup windows.
