Deck overview

Dromar, the Banisher helms an Esper color-manipulation and control deck designed to distort card text and color identities for devastating asymmetry. The deck leverages color-shifting permanents and spells like Painter's Servant, Blind Seer, and Alter Reality to turn narrow color-hate cards like Douse, Deathgrip, and Hibernation into universal locks. Additionally, every color change directed at opponent permanents commits a crime, triggering continuous value through Gisa, the Hellraiser and Kaervek, the Punisher. The primary win condition is the lethal mill combo of Painter's Servant and Grindstone, with secondary victories achieved through hard locks via Llawan, Cephalid Empress or relentless combat backed by protective swords and Dromar.
