Zombies by user9958432

Format: Commander

Commander: Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver commands an aristocrats and tribal engine focused on sacrificing Zombies for relentless card draw and recurring board presence. The deck converts expendable Zombie bodies and decayed tokens into continuous card advantage, mana, and direct life drain. Primary paths to victory rely on infinite sacrifice loops, such as combining Gravecrawler with Phyrexian Altar, or looping Wilhelt with a transformed Poppet Factory and a sacrifice outlet like Carrion Feeder. These loops trigger win conditions like Plague Belcher, Diregraf Captain, and Vengeful Dead. Secondary win conditions involve mass reanimation through Zombie Apocalypse or overwhelming the table with Gray Merchant of Asphodel and lord-buffed Zombie swarms.
